Mathieu Appassamy
Mathieu is a dynamic Mauritian entrepreneur with a background in short-term rentals. After studying in France, he began his career at Horizon Holidays before founding StayMauritius. The idea for muse villas emerged during the COVID pandemic, recognising the potential of Mauritius’s exceptional villas. Mathieu also serves as the President of AALSIM, the association of Holiday Rentals operators in Mauritius, and is a co-founder and Director of FoodWise, a social business dedicated to combating food waste.
Xavier Doger de Spéville
Xavier is a passionate hotelier and a graduate of Vatel Hotel Management School. His distinguished career includes roles at prestigious institutions like Le Royal Monceau and Le Bristol in Paris. With six years of experience at LUX* Resorts & Hotels, Xavier brings invaluable expertise to muse villas, ensuring that every aspect of our guest experience reflects our unique charm and high standards.
Daniel Agathe
Daniel brings a rich and diverse skill set to muse villas, honed from his studies in Hospitality and Global Business Management in Switzerland and experiences at 20 Degrés Sud - Relais & Château, Grand Hôtel Suisse Majestic, and Sunlife Mauritius. An avid communicator and optimist, Daniel excels at crafting dream holidays for our guests.

Jean-Baptiste is our expert in trade relations and revenue management, focusing on growing our partnerships and ensuring success. With a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, he is committed to expanding our trade relations and driving growth for muse villas. Sonia oversees Villa Saphir and Villa Rubis with a passion for luxury hospitality. With a master's degree in resort management and experience at renowned establishments like Hotel Cap-Eden-Roc, Chateau Saint Martin & Spa, La Reserve, and Constance Prince Maurice, Sonia ensures a truly unforgettable and luxurious stay for every guest.

Luana, with a bachelor's degree from Vatel, has a rich history in luxury hospitality, having worked at prestigious establishments like Fouquet’s, LUX* Saint Gilles, Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, and Four Seasons Hotel George V. She brings this wealth of experience to our villas, ensuring each guest enjoys a uniquely tailored, luxurious stay.

Gregory is the Villa Host for Villa de L'Ocean, Villa Cambresi, and Villa Koki Bonheur at muse villas. With distinguished experience from prestigious establishments like One&Only Royal Mirage and Hotel Plaza Athénée Paris, Gregory ensures each stay is a meticulously curated journey of luxury and comfort.
Jordan Berthelot
Jordan holds a degree in Hospitality from Vatel and brings extensive experience from five-star hotels such as Hilton, Marriott, Constance, and Shangri-La. Dedicated to Villa Cambier and Villa Matahari, he embodies the essence of barefoot luxury, ensuring an elevated guest experience at every turn.

Jyotishnah is a passionate marketer with a flair for storytelling through high-quality content. As a dedicated foodie with a contagious energy, she brings positivity and laughter to the team, uplifting everyone around her. David, a French national who has called Mauritius home for five years, is a distinguished entrepreneur in the luxury hospitality sector. He is the founder of John Paul, the global leading concierge service acquired by Accor Hotels in 2016. Now an active angel investor and board member of several companies, including The Lux Collective in Mauritius, David’s passion for luxury hospitality drives muse villas in the pursuit of unparalleled excellence in guest experiences.
Harold Mayer
Harold has notably served as the CEO of CIEL Textile for over two decades, leading the company to a successful turnover of more than $400 million. Currently, he is involved on the boards of Air Mauritius, Sunlife, and Omnicane. Harold's expertise in strategic business development and corporate governance is invaluable to muse villas. His early experience selling exceptional stays in Mauritius to South Africans foreshadowed his continued contribution to the luxury hospitality sector.

Hubert is an accomplished Mauritian C-Suite professional who has served in various roles, including Managing Director of Medine Property and currently as CEO of Necker Capital. Hubert also serves as a Non-Executive Director of several listed companies.
